Description
Discover by canoe the spectacular Costa Viola of Calabria, so named for the shades the sea assumes at certain times of the day. Depart from Bagnara Calabra and explore with a guide marine caves, rock arches, and coves accessible only by sea, like the unspoiled Cala Janculla.
A 3-hour adventure among nature and wonder!
What we will do
We will meet at the indicated time at the meeting point in Bagnara Calabra (RC).
Welcoming us will be the guide who will accompany us on this adventure on the sea of Calabria! After a brief introductory briefing and the handing over of equipment, we will begin our excursion along the spectacular Costa Viola, facing the Strait of Messina.
We will paddle among cliffs towering over the sea, passing by wild coves and marine caves where we can gaze in to admire their plays of light. During the approximately 1 km route, we can also take a dip in the crystal-clear waters and admire the wonderful Cala Janculla from the sea, characterized by an incredible biodiversity.
We will continue to a natural rock arch, then turn around and return to the starting point.

At the meeting point, there is a bar with restrooms; showers or changing rooms are not available. The guide will carry a dry bag to keep participants' small personal items.
It is not possible to participate with your own dog.
There is free parking available on-site. The meeting point is not accessible by public transport.
