Description

Description

The path of the Tracciolino winds between Palmi and the locality Paradiso, in one of the most suggestive scenarios of the Costa Viola. After a spectacular descent into the woods, the trail slowly ascends, offering continuous views of the Strait.

Walking southward, the view of Palmi gives way to a panorama that expands into the underlying coves, illuminated by the intense colors of the sunset. On the clearest days, the gaze can reach all the way to the Aeolian Islands, creating a unique photographic effect.

The route finally leads to a view of the Bagnara bridge, before ascending towards the scenic Piani della Corona and closing the loop back to the starting point. Here, between light and silence, nature reveals itself in its most wild and authentic form.

This itinerary, defined by the writer Leonida Repaci as “the little Paradise,” combines natural beauty, mythological suggestions, and birdwatching: at dusk, it is possible to observe the marsh harrier and other migratory birds along their seasonal routes.
