The Aeolian Islands are one of the most fascinating archipelagos in Europe. Lipari represents the historical and cultural heart of the islands, Panarea embodies the exclusive charm of the Mediterranean, while Stromboli offers the unique thrill of observing a volcano that is still active today.
Start experience
Depart from the port of Tropea to experience a day among the most iconic islands of the Mediterranean. After check-in and boarding, the navigation towards the Aeolian archipelago, a UNESCO World Heritage site, will begin amidst open sea and spectacular views.
The first stop will be Lipari, the largest of the islands.
Key moment
Lipari
You will have about two and a half hours of free time to visit the historic center, stroll along the main streets, go shopping, have lunch in local restaurants, or visit the famous Aeolian Archaeological Museum. For those who wish, it is possible to participate in optional island tours.
Panarea
We continue towards Panarea, the most exclusive island of the archipelago. Here you can stroll among the characteristic white houses, stop for a granita, explore the narrow streets of the village, or simply enjoy the elegant and relaxed atmosphere of the island.
Stromboli
In the afternoon, we reach Stromboli, dominated by the famous active volcano. You will have free time to stroll through the village, swim at the famous black volcanic sand beaches, have dinner, or buy typical products and souvenirs.
Return
At sunset, the navigation continues along the coast of Stromboli until reaching the Sciara del Fuoco, the large volcanic slope that descends directly to the sea.
Here the boat will make a scenic stop of about 30 minutes to allow you to admire one of the most fascinating natural spectacles in the Mediterranean, weather and sea conditions permitting.
After the visit, you will return towards Calabria with arrival expected in the evening.
