A short route along the Costa Viola, between Cala Rovaglioso and Villa Repaci, where the sea, caves, and rock layers tell the ancient relationship between humans and the coast. An introductory itinerary of the Aspromare trail, designed to read the landscape rather than cross it.
Start experience
Departure from Cala Rovaglioso with a coastal walk along scenic stretches. The trail alternates between sea views and passages over sedimentary rocks, introducing the geological and historical context of the coast of Palmi.
Key moment
Exploration of the natural cavities along the route, including a large underground cavity capable of accommodating many people. A central point of the experience where geology, history, and human use of the coastal spaces intertwine.
Return
Continuation toward Villa Repaci and completion of the route along the coast. The return offers an overall view of the area between the sea, caves, and rock strata, ending back at the starting point.
