Description

Description

The Costa Viola is one of the most picturesque corners of Calabria, where the vineyards climb the slopes of Aspromonte overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Aeolian Islands. In this unique setting is the winery that will host your experience.

The guided tour begins with an introduction to the world of local viticulture, focusing on the grape varieties cultivated and the traditional training systems. Walking among the rows of Zibibbo, Nero Calabrese (Nero d'Avola), Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay, you will discover curiosities and peculiarities of each grape variety.

The route also includes a visit to an ancient vineyard trained as a bush vine, a traditional method that still preserves the agricultural history of the territory today.

The day culminates with an exclusive seaside aperitif: you will taste four wines from the winery accompanied by typical local products, such as Pizza and Pellegrina bread, Calabrian cold cuts and cheeses, 'Nduja from Spilinga, and Piparelli, sweets from Costa Viola. An experience that combines nature, tradition, and conviviality.
