What will you do
A hands-on workshop to discover how a true natural soap is made, learning how to make it using the cold process method and an olive oil base. From the chemistry of saponification to the manual steps of the crafting process, you will follow every stage of the process until you create a bar of soap made with your own hands, to take home together with the recipe to reproduce it on your own.
Start experience
The activity begins with an introduction to the principles of saponification: you will learn how to balance oils and lye, how to read a recipe, and what precautions to follow to work safely. Each participant will have a fully equipped workstation and dedicated protective equipment.
Key moment
You will move on to the practical part of the workshop: weighing the ingredients, mixing, reaching the “trace” and pouring into the molds. Guided by the instructor, you will also discover basic customization techniques and the processes of gelling, cutting, curing, and storing the soap.
Return
The experience concludes with the cutting of the soap and the delivery of your handcrafted soap bar, along with a recipe card so you can continue experimenting at home, with greater awareness of the materials and the process.
