What will you do

Behind a good cup there’s much more than just taste: origins, roasting, extraction, and choices that completely change the final result. This experience takes you inside an artisanal roastery to truly understand how coffee is born, from the green bean to the final tasting, debunking false myths and learning to recognize what makes a balanced cup.

Start experience

The day begins at the roastery with an introduction to the world of coffee: you will discover the differences between origins, processing methods, and the characteristics of green beans, while also learning to recognize any defects. You will then watch a real roasting session explained step by step, gaining an understanding of curves, aroma profiles, and flavor development.

Key moment

You will enter the practical section dedicated to brewing methods: espresso, moka, and filter methods. You will experiment with grind size, dose, temperature, and timing to understand how small changes affect the result in the cup and how to avoid the most common mistakes. Along the way, many common beliefs about coffee will be debunked, followed by a guided tasting to train your sense of smell and palate.

Return

The experience concludes with a look at the Caffeotto project and the roastery’s philosophy: an artisanal approach that also explores connections with the Calabrian territory, such as bergamot-flavored coffee (when available), combining quality, sustainability, and local identity in a cup.

What you need to know
