What will you do
A horseback ride in the Piana di Gioia Tauro, among rural landscapes, woods and traces of medieval history, for a slow-paced experience that brings together nature, culture, and a timeless atmosphere.
Start experience
Welcome and meeting with the instructors. Introduction to horse handling and assignment of the animal based on the participant’s level, with the start of the route along natural trails immersed in greenery.
Key moment
A horseback route through forests of larches, maples, and firs, with a gradual immersion in the landscape of the Gioia Tauro Plain. The itinerary leads to Antica Galatoni, a village of medieval origin linked to the trade of the Taureans and today surrounded by ancient olive groves and natural springs. The journey alternates between nature and historic ruins, creating an immersive experience between the past and the rural landscape.
Return
Return to base and end the activity. Upon request, it is possible to continue with lunch at a typical nearby restaurant, to complete the experience with traditional local cuisine.

No previous horseback riding experience is required (suitable for beginners as well)
