What will you do
A route through the Little Canyon of Cambareri, in Aspromonte, among narrow gorges, rocky walls and passages carved by water. An intimate and scenic setting, where the mountain narrows until it creates a sort of natural cathedral.
Start experience
Initial gradual descent that leads toward the canyon. The landscape changes rapidly: from Mediterranean vegetation to a more enclosed, rocky environment.
Key moment
Traversing gorges and the narrowest passages, among caves, cavities and natural formations shaped by erosion. The experience is enriched by stories and legends linked to the place, which amplify its cultural dimension beyond the geological one.
Return
Gradual exit from the canyon and ascent along the initial route. Return toward the starting area with a gradual transition from the rocky terrain to the open landscape.

Very beautiful place and easy to reach, ideal if you have half a day free. In some parts, you need to be careful of stones/gravel, so it's best to avoid smooth shoes. Overall, recommended experience.
