The Trekking EVO – Extra Virgin Olive Oil is an experience that combines walking, culture, and gastronomy, narrating the deep connection between Cleto and the olive tree. With over 200,000 olive trees and 13 active mills, this territory represents one of the most authentic hearts of Calabrian olive oil tradition.

The experience begins with a visit to the village of Cleto and its Medieval Castle, to understand the historical and cultural context in which the olive tree has grown over the centuries as an identity element. From the inhabited center, a rural trek of about 4–5 km continues through olive groves, dry stone walls, and gentle paths, immersed in a still vibrant and productive agricultural landscape.

During the walk, the guide accompanies the group with stories, curiosities, and experiential activities related to olive cultivation and peasant life. The path leads to an olive oil farm, where the process of producing extra virgin olive oil is discovered. In the months of September, October, and November, it is also possible to witness the olive harvesting demonstration.

The day continues with a guided tasting of EVO oil, to learn how to recognize qualities, aromas, and characteristics of true extra virgin oil. The experience concludes with a picnic lunch among the olive groves, a convivial moment immersed in nature that enhances local flavors and the slow rhythm of the territory.
