The route crosses rural landscapes, active olive mills, and centuries-old olive groves, telling the deep connection between the land, tradition, and extra virgin olive oil production.

Visit to the village of Cleto and its medieval castle, with an introduction to the history of ancient Petramala and to the role of the olive tree in shaping the local cultural landscape. The guide provides context about the area before the start of the trek.
Key moment
Rural trekking of about 4–5 km among olive groves, dry stone walls, and still productive agricultural paths. Along the way, the guide explains cultivation techniques, farming traditions, and, during harvest months, demonstrations related to olive processing. Stop at an olive oil mill to observe the EVO oil production process.
