What will you do
An excursion in the heart of the Ionian Aspromonte up to Monte Tre Pizzi, one of the most spectacular panoramic spots in the massif. A short but intense route that combines a climb through nature and reading the landscape, with views that reach the Reggio coast and the sea.
Start experience
Departure from the locality A Fimmina and start of the trail toward the summit. The route is natural and non-technical, with an introduction to the geographic context and the type of landscape crossed along the ascent.
Key moment
Ascent along the out-and-back route of about 4 km and 300 m of elevation gain, along a trail immersed in vegetation and with progressively opening views. At the summit, a panoramic stop to take in the landscape: from the mountains to the sea, with a wide view over the Ionian coast.
Return
Descent along the same route and conclusion of the excursion. In the afternoon, the experience continues with a meeting dedicated to Ciminà caciocavallo: presentation of the product, traditional processing methods, and a guided tasting at a partner venue.

Comfortable layered clothing suitable for the season and altitude
Windproof/rainproof jacket
Trekking shoes or shoes with a rugged sole (no heels, no flip-flops, no smooth soles)
Water at least 1.5 L
Snack/packed lunch
Report any allergies/intolerances in advance for the food part
The itinerary can be modified or canceled on the same day due to weather, wind, or ground conditions.
Gastronomic experience carried out at a local partner (anonymized).
