An experience in the heart of Pollino National Park to discover the world of truffles directly in the field, following the work of a professional truffle hunter and his trained dogs. A day among the woods, observing nature and gastronomic culture, where you learn to read the land through scents, tracks, and the rhythms of the undergrowth.
Start experience
Meeting in Campotenese and introduction to the world of Calabrian truffles: varieties found in the Pollino area, search techniques, and the role of trained dogs. The truffle hunter presents the route and the methods of sustainable harvesting.
Key moment
Guided walk in the woods following the work of truffle dogs, observing how they identify the right ground and taking part in the discoveries. Along the way, the guide рассказывает about the flora, fauna, and dynamics of the Pollino ecosystem, among grasslands, streams, and forested areas.
Return
The experience concludes with a tasting of products made with Calabrian truffle, to discover the aromas, uses, and characteristics of the harvest just found in its natural environment.
