If you choose to arrive on your own, you will receive all the useful information for the meeting about 3 days before, including location, time and supplier contact.

What will you do

A wild trek in the province of Crotone, up to the Giglietto Waterfall: an isolated environment where Mediterranean scrub, rocky outcrops, and streams alternate in a landscape that is still untouched. An intense experience, designed for those seeking true nature and direct contact with a little human-altered territory.

Start experience

Departure near the municipality of Carfizzi and entry onto the trail that crosses the Mediterranean scrub between Montagnella, Monte Suvero and Monte Pescaldo. The first stretches immediately introduce a harsh and silent natural environment.

Key moment

The route continues for about 9 km with over 500 m of positive elevation gain, alternating climbs, scenic stretches, and passages along the riverbed. The route requires attention and a sure footing, especially in the final section, which varies depending on the season and the water level.

Return

Arrival at Giglietto Waterfall, where the water plunges among the rocks, creating plays of light and sound. After the stop, I return along the same route, at a more relaxed pace, with the landscape gradually accompanying the return.
