A nighttime snowshoe hike in the heart of Pollino National Park, where the snowy forest changes rhythm and sounds. An experience designed to enjoy the mountain in winter in an essential and immersive way, following animal tracks, listening to the silence of the night, and crossing natural environments illuminated only by flashlights.

Start experience

Meet with the guide and prepare the equipment, with an introduction to the route and to the use of the snowshoes provided by the organizers. After the first steps on the snow, the group gradually enters the forest to get used to walking at night.

The snowshoe hike passes through beech forests, quiet clearings, and snow-covered areas of the Pollino, following a slow and steady pace. Along the route, traces of wildlife, monumental trees, and frozen springs can be observed, accompanied by the guide's stories about the area's natural and geomorphological landscape.

Return along the trail immersed in the mountain’s nighttime atmosphere, amid silence and torchlight. The duration of the route may vary depending on weather conditions, ending the experience with a free break for a warm refreshment or a packed breakfast brought by the participants.
