Starting from Colle Dogarelli (1,162 m) and entering the beech forest of Monte Castelluzzo. The initial stretches unfold in a shaded environment, among mature trees and the guide's stories about the natural history of the area.
Key moment
The path continues through woodland and high-altitude meadows to Monte del Greco (1,217 m), crossing rocky outcrops and increasingly wide panoramic openings. Along the way, the changes in the landscape can be observed and, on clear days, glimpses stretch from Monte Reventino to the Gulf of Sant’Eufemia.
Return
Descent along the trail, once again immersed in the silence of the forest, at a relaxed and steady pace. A finale that brings back the contrast between the beech forest’s shade and the wide panoramic openings experienced during the hike.
