Departure from Campotenese and entry onto the trails of the integral reserve of the Argentino River Valley. The guide introduces the route, the habitats crossed, and the natural features of the area.

Key moment

Crossing of the beech forest and the section of the “Salviosa”, known for the presence of wild aromatic plants. The trail alternates between forest environments and Mediterranean scrub until the ascent toward the panoramic viewpoint of Castello Brancato.

Return

Descent along the same route, observing the different environments crossed, from the beech forest to the panoramic views over the valley and the Tyrrhenian coast. A gradual return that concludes the excursion with a complete reading of the landscape.
