Description
The itinerary offers every time new eyes on Pentedattilo, the ghost village perched on Mount Calvario, famous for the cliff shaped like a hand with five fingers. Here history, legends, and nature intertwine in a landscape where the “monuments” are water, air, and wind.
From the maze of alleys of the village, at the foot of the cyclopean hand of Pentadaktilos, one descends along country trails and climbs towards the Rocche di Santa Lena, impressive natural sculptures shaped by time. Among ridges, streams, and cultivated terraces, the path narrates Greek Calabria: signs of man that withstand the passage of centuries, vistas that open the view from Aspromonte to the Ionian Sea.
