A journey through archaeology, art, and wine: in a wine-museum in the province of Cosenza, an archaeologist will guide you to discover the origins of wine in Calabria and the ancient techniques of vinification in amphora dating back to Roman times.
During the visit, you will encounter works displayed in the spaces of the winery, the maturation area, and the amphora collection, to understand why terracotta, time, and micro-oxygenation provide such unique profiles.
There will be a guided tasting of 4 wines accompanied by typical products:

• Orange elektron wine, made from local white grapes (e.g. Greco Bianco), vinified and aged in amphoras;

• Katia wine, a red made from the ancient and exclusive Calabrian grape variety "Castiglione", capable of delivering unique archeo-emotions to the world;

• Wine in amphora, vinified and aged in amphoras from the magliocco grape; and

• Creta wine, an Aglianico aged in terracotta (amphora).

You will learn to read colors, aromas, and structure, connecting the glass to history.
