In the heart of Pollino, the only center of naturalistic falconry in Calabria, recognized by UNESCO, preserves a unique heritage of knowledge and respect for birds of prey. Here you won't find circus shows or zoo entertainment, but a journey that enhances their nature and their history.
Through interactive workshops on environmental and rural culture, you will be guided to discover this fascinating world, learning to understand birds of prey from a scientific and naturalistic perspective.
You will meet extraordinary specimens like Shira, the royal owl; Nuvola, the barn owl; Zeus, the playful buzzard, and many others. Getting to know their behaviors and their role in the ecosystem will make the experience educational and engaging.
The day will culminate with a meeting with Abel, the golden eagle, who will soar through the air with elegant and powerful flight, providing an unforgettable emotion. Included in the activity: dedicated guide for 4 hours, interaction with two species, and insurance.
