What will you do
A scenic hike in the Sila, along an easy route that leads to the Cozzolillo ridge, one of the most open and picturesque spots on the plateau. An itinerary designed to reach the right altitude at the best time of day: the light of sunset.
Start experience
Departure from provincial road 211 with a gradual entrance onto the trail. The first stretch alternates young pine woods and rocky outcrops, preparing the ascent toward the Cozzolillo pass.
Key moment
Crossing the clearing and final ascent to the summit. From the panoramic viewpoint, a wide view opens over the main Sila peaks, including Montenero, Botte Donato and Monte Curcio, with the possibility of also spotting Orsomarso and the Pollino mountain range in the distance.
Return
Descent along the same route, accompanied by the warm lights of sunset that gradually transform the landscape. Return to the SP211, concluding the experience in an open, bright environment.
