Description

The hike starts from provincial road 211 and quickly immerses you in the nature of Sila, along a trail that alternates between young pine forests and rocky outcrops. A simple and accessible path that gradually leads to the Cozzolillo pass.

From here, across a glade, you reach the homonymous elevation: a peak that offers one of the most stunning views of the entire plateau. The gaze spans the main peaks of Sila, including Montenero (1881 m), Botte Donato (1928 m), and Monte Curcio (1780 m).

On clearer days, it is possible to glimpse the Orsomarso and the coastal chain of Pollino, adding a spectacular touch to the experience.

The characteristics of the path and the privileged location of Cozzolillo make this trek ideal for experiencing the colors of sunset in the mountains: a moment that combines nature, relaxation, and scenic wonder.
