A walking tour in Cleto, in the lower Tyrrhenian area of Cosenza, among medieval villages, castles, and agricultural traditions, where millennia-old history and popular culture intertwine in an authentic landscape that is still little touched.

Walk through the village of Cleto with an introduction to its ancient history, inhabited since the Paleolithic. First exploration of the alleys and historic architecture, among stories, legends, and “tales” from local tradition.
Key moment
Visit to the two castles of the area: Petramala Castle, of Byzantine-Norman origin, and Savuto Castle, from the Angevin period, overlooking the river of the same name. The route continues among rock-cut caves, churches, and historic palaces, then moves on to the village of Savuto. Here, the agricultural soul of the area is explored, among centuries-old olive groves and local production.
Return
