What will you do

The Fresh Egg Pasta Workshop is an authentic experience that invites you to slow down and rediscover the ancient gestures of Calabrian cuisine. Set at Locanda Il Tempo, in the village of Cleto, the workshop is designed for those who love to cook, experiment, and share genuine moments around food.

The activity begins with an introduction to ancient grains, to understand the importance of raw materials and their role in the local gastronomic tradition. Each participant has a complete individual station with equipment, where they learn to properly measure the ingredients and work the dough strictly by hand, until a smooth and elastic sheet is achieved.

From the work on the sheet, the “maccarruni petramalisi” are born, a typical pasta of the area, made following traditional techniques. During the workshop, a small aperitif is provided, making the experience even more convivial and relaxed.

The workshop is suitable for everyone, even for those with no cooking experience: the goal is the pleasure of “doing together,” among manual skills, smiles, and sharing. At the end of the activity, participants sit down for a communal lunch or dinner, tasting the pasta prepared during the workshop along with other local specialties.
