Description

Pietramala represents the oldest and most authentic soul of Cleto, a village shaped by stone and deeply connected to its geological conformation. This experience offers a trekking that combines urban walking and nature, providing a complete reading of the territory, its history, and popular traditions.

The excursion starts from the town center, crossing alleys, palaces, and hidden corners of the medieval village. During the ascent, you will visit the medieval castle of Cleto, the rocky caves, the ancient cisterns, and the silos carved into the rock, testimonies of an ingenious relationship between man and environment.

After passing the village, the trail continues towards the more naturalistic area in the direction of Monte Sant’Angelo, where the landscape opens up to wide and suggestive views. Here, nature becomes the protagonist, offering privileged observation points of the surrounding territory and moments of total immersion in silence.

Along the way, the guide accompanies the group with stories, legends, and popular “cunti” that bring life and memory to these places. An experience designed for those who wish to know Cleto in a slow, deep, and authentic way, between history, rock, and landscape.
