A trek between the village and nature in the oldest part of Cleto, to discover the rupestrian soul of Pietramala. A route that combines history, geology and landscape, where the medieval village and the natural environment intertwine in a single reading of the area.

Start experience

Departure from the historic center of Cleto, walking through alleys, views, and medieval architecture. The guide introduces the history of the village and its connection to the rocky landscape of the area.

Key moment

Visit to the medieval castle, the rock-cut caves, the ancient cisterns and the silos carved into the stone. The route continues uphill toward Monte Sant’Angelo, where the landscape gradually opens onto wide and silent vistas, alternating narration and observation of the territory.

Return

Conclusion in the naturalistic part of the route with panoramic views over Cleto and the surrounding area. The guide closes the experience with stories and popular “cunti” linked to the village, restoring memory and identity to the places traversed.
