Nicotera, overlooking the Coast of Gods, lights up with lights and stories at Christmas. This walking tour takes you into the heart of the historic village, where tradition and creativity meet among alleys, small squares, and glimpses of the sea.

We will stroll along the charming Via del Vischio, among illuminations and setups that transform the center into a small open-air theater; we will enter the Jewish quarter of Giudecca, to rediscover traces and memories that cross the centuries.

We will continue toward the colorful Via degli Ombrelli, a tribute to Rino Gaetano: music, installations, and an unusual perspective on village life. The viewpoints will offer views of the Strait of Messina and, on clear days, the Aeolian Islands; sometimes even the profiles of Etna and Stromboli can be distinguished.

We will conclude in a typical restaurant, “Il Vicu”, with a guided tasting of local products paired with a glass of Calabrian wine: cured meats and cheeses from the area, preserves, EVO oil, and traditional Christmas desserts.
