Description

Description

The Scialata is a natural oasis located in the area of the Reggio Magna Grecia. A well-maintained and equipped path that develops along the Levadio stream, offering glimpses of lush nature and a series of spectacular waterfalls.

The trail, immersed in a lush forest, is characterized by wooden bridges, steps carved into the rock, and fences that make the walk safe and accessible to everyone. Along the approximately 200 meters of elevation gain, you will encounter numerous waterfalls that cascade over polished granite rocks, creating crystalline pools with icy but rejuvenating waters.

The excursion culminates in the equipped area of Cannavarè, an ideal place for a break in the chestnut forest. Here you will find tables, benches, and a serene atmosphere that invites relaxation after the walk.

A trekking experience that combines nature, well-being, and breathtaking scenery, perfect for those who wish to spend an entire day immersed in the authenticity of the land. It is advisable to bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the picnic area.
