A nature trail in the Reggio Magna Graecia area along the Levadio stream, amid waterfalls, dense woodland and crystal-clear pools of water. A short but constantly changing experience in the variety of the landscape, where water and rock define the rhythm of the walk.
Start experience
Start on the equipped trail with wooden footbridges, steps, and railings that accompany the descent along the stream. The path immediately enters the woods, amid dampness, shade, and the sound of water.
Key moment
Progressive succession of waterfalls and cascades flowing over smooth granite rocks. The natural pools accompany the most scenic part of the hike, where contact with the water becomes the central element.
Return
Arrival at the equipped area of Cannavarè, among chestnut trees and shaded spaces. Stop and packed lunch break before returning along the same route, with a gradual exit from the wooded setting.
