What will you do

An excursion along the ridges of Aspromonte to discover the so-called “Dolomites of the South”, among limestone spires, deep ravines and unique geological contrasts. A circular route that combines landscape, science and the memory of the territory, up to the area of the Canolo geosite.

Start experience

Start along the loop trail toward the northern ridge of the massif. The first sections introduce the transition between wooded areas and rocky outcrops, with a gradual opening onto the panoramic ridgelines.

Key moment

Arriving in the areas of the Southern Dolomites, with limestone spires up to 100 meters high rising in the Aspromonte landscape. Here the route enters the heart of the Canolo geosite, among geological interpretation, deep valleys, and the observation of Jurassic rock formations.
