Description
A route designed to tell the story of one of the most authentic corners of the Grecanic Aspromonte.
We will start above the village of Samo and follow the stretch known as the path of the great trees, where some centuries-old specimens narrate the history of the territory and its ancient ridge paths. The first part is about 4 km long with a positive elevation gain of 300 m, on natural ground.
In the afternoon, the experience continues on the bed of the Laverde River until the entrance of the gorges: a wilder, more scenic environment, where it is essential to adhere to the guide's instructions due to the uneven ground and the potential presence of water.
The day lasts about 6 overall hours, with breaks and moments of landscape reading. It is an ideal outing for groups, schools, and for those who want to combine woods and river in the same experience. The itinerary may be modified or canceled on the same day due to weather or safety conditions.

Trekking shoes or shoes with a treaded sole (no heels, no flip-flops, no smooth soles)
