The itinerary of Pentedattilo always offers new emotions and different perspectives. Pentidattilo is a fascinating ghost village located in the municipality of Melito Porto Salvo. Perched on a cliff of Monte Calvario, the town owes its name to the shape of the rock on which it stands, resembling a hand with five fingers. This ancient village offers a unique mix of history, legends, and natural beauty. Monuments of water, air, and wind merge together celebrating the magnificence of nature.
Thus, starting from the cyclopean hand of Pentadaktilos, a typical scene of the many evocative rural and ancient landscapes of the Greek Calabria, one will reach another imposing and spectacular rock formation of the Rocche di Santa Lena. The landscape, shaped by ridges, streams, and cultivations, will be a continuous source of wonder for the fascinated gazes that traverse it, while the signs of man that still endure challenge the passage of time.
This experience, of great historical and natural value, extends for about 10 kilometers and will conclude around lunchtime.
